It does has a great impact in our lives. The memories will always be there, you may choose to hold on to it or let go. Wouldn't it be great "if" you had pursued her while you had the chance? <BR/><BR/>My wife and I were HS sweethearts, she was my first love and I was her first love. Life has never been happier. We literally grew up together. I pursued her when we were in first year HS and became lovers when we were Juniors. Went to college, she went to study in Manila and I went to Baguio. Life has its obstacles. With merger amount of allowance and with the vast homeworks and exams there's no way we can see and spend time together every weekend but we put God first in our relationship, as our guidance. And with faith, love and trust we were able to stay close. Wrote letters twice a month. There were no phones where I used to live and no cell phones and definitely no e-mails. Yet, we promised to be loyal and love each other unconditionally. There were distractors. Lots of pretty girls in the campus. I could have had lots of girlfriends if I wanted to but my heart belongs to only one woman and that is my wife.<BR/><BR/>We have 2 kids, 3 grandkids and we are very much happy together. We're not rich but we live a comfortable life. I'm the luckiest and the happiest man on earth. True love only comes once in a lifetime my friend.
